Parasite Jazz is a fake jazz fourtet playing imaginary movie scores with drums, bass, trumpet, drum machines, violin, synth, ocarinas & voices. The 2025 set is based on Tamara Goukassova, Alex / Axel Larsen, Théo / Panoptique, recently joined by Mars / Hochiwah but can include punctual interventions and members.

After its first release in 2023, the tiny big band Parasite Jazz brings its public iterations to fruition with “♫”, a testament to an alternate reality, matured voyaging across France over the span of four seasons. It sees the music flee through exuberant forests and steep troglodytes ; a parallel genre movie with a soundtrack of diluvian rhythms, mocking chants, jazz noir and voodoo accidents. In this shifting, autonomous world, the elastic orchestra—whose members keep on appearing and disappearing—plays for nocturnal secrets and feverish cavalcades.
